Things to know

When should I RSVP by?

Please kindly RSVP by July 18th, 2025 so we can finalize all the details and make sure everything is just right for the celebration.

Can I bring a +1?

We’re keeping our wedding an intimate gathering with our closest family and friends. We kindly ask that only the guests listed by name on the invitation RSVP. Thank you for your understanding and support!

Can I bring a gift? Registry

We are so grateful to have our loved ones traveling from Canada, the UK, and beyond to celebrate with us in the French Alps. Your journey to be with us means everything, and we truly do not expect any gifts.

However, for those who have expressed an interest, we’ve put together a small curated list of gifts, as well as a home deposit fund for those who would like to contribute. Please note, there will also be a card box on-site on the day for your best wishes.

This is all entirely optional, we’re simply overjoyed to share this special moment with you!

Can children attend?

To ensure everyone can relax and celebrate, the ceremony and reception will be an adults-only (18+) event.

That said, we know many of our guests are making this a longer stay or holiday, and we warmly welcome you to bring your families to enjoy the beauty of the French Alps.

On the wedding day, we’ll be arranging babysitters and nannies at the bride and groom’s family and wedding party cottage, just a 10 minute drive from the venue. Children can be picked up after the evening’s festivities.

If you’ll be needing this service, please note it in your RSVP.

Can we capture the moment?

We kindly ask that our ceremony be a device-free moment. Please turn off your phones, soak in the breathtaking view, and be fully present with us as we say “I do.”

We’ve hired an incredible photographer and videographer to capture every moment, so you can relax and enjoy without distraction.

We’d love for your faces, not your phones to be part of our memories. Your presence means the world, and keeping this moment unplugged helps us preserve the magic just as it is. Thank you for helping make this part of the day truly meaningful.

What’s the dress code?

We request guests to dress in formal attire, with an emphasis on old-world elegance and quiet luxury—think timeless tailoring, rich textures, and understated sophistication.

Our wedding party will be wearing navy and sage, so feel free to complement, but not match them if you're seeking inspiration.

We also kindly ask that guests avoid white, ivory, or beige to ensure the bride stands out on the day. We can't wait to see you looking your best amidst the alpine charm!

Will the wedding be outside?

Weather in Morzine in March can range from crisp sunshine at 5–12°C to the occasional snowstorm. Our hope is to say “I do” outdoors on the deck, surrounded by snow and mountain views. However, we do have a beautiful contingency plan should Mother Nature have other ideas.

We kindly suggest bringing a coat or jacket you’ll be comfortable wearing during the ceremony and happy to be photographed in, of course!

Is there an open bar?

Damn right there is! We will be offering a thoughtfully chosen selection of our favourite wines, spirits, and cocktails.

The bar will be flowing freely well into the evening and will naturally wind down once the barrels start whispering they’re nearly empty. Until then, sip, savour, and celebrate! Though we’re quite sure the laughter and liveliness will carry on, glass in hand or not.

Airport

Airport

The best and most convenient airport to fly into is Geneva (GVA) in Switzerland. Geneva airport is quite unique in that it has a French and a Swiss side. Once through arrival security you will leave the airport in the Swiss sector and then travel into France via transfer. For more information visit this link.

Alternatively you can fly into Lyon (LYS) but it is approximately twice as far to the venue.

Carhire

Care Hire

For the quickest and easiest journey to Morzine from Geneva Airport, the Swiss side is generally recommended. Renting a car at the airport on the Swiss side provides direct access to the motorway and often includes the necessary Swiss vignette for the highway. This simplifies the drive to Morzine.

There are a range of car hire companies at the airport.

Shuttle

Airport Shuttles

Getting an airport shuttle from Geneva to Morzine can be a cost effective way to travel if you opt for a shared transfer. You can get a shared transfer or private minibus direct from the airport likely stopping in Le Gets before heading to Morzine.

Morzine Airport Transfers, Alpine Fleet and Alpybus are a few companies to try out.
